EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM AROUND THE WORLD

How is Education in India

Most of the schools in India belong to the private sector, and only a few schools are administrated by the government. Indian schools have a lot of boards (ICSE, CBSE, STATEBOARD, etc.). ICSE and CBSE boards train students in a way that they could apply what they have learnt in real life. But state boards are quite different from them. They train students on how to get marks and mere real-life applications. Irrespective of the boards, students are studying rather than learning.

How is Education in Other Countries

In countries like the USA, Canada, Australia, England, and many other European countries, public schools play a dominant role. Moreover, education is free for their citizens irrespective of their financial income, race, religion or any other. The schools are completely funded by the government and the teachers are also paid by them. Private schools are mostly rare. They teach the students learning-based applications. The high schools play a crucial role in determining where they would take up their college education.

How Should the Education Be Like

Education must be given to everyone. It should not be a business. It is the basic need that every human being ought to have. It must be given as a present not as a food for which they expect them to pay back. So firstly, the schools must follow the curriculum fixed. They have to teach the concepts first and more importantly, make sure that all the students understand what they teach. Secondly, frequent assessments should be conducted to check whether the student grasped the concepts or not. The questions must not be taken only from the book. It should be a more generalized question.

Factors Affecting Education

Education to students and others is limited because of poverty and lack of interest. Technological advancements have imparted betterment with side effects. Usage of mobile, tablet, iPad, and laptop affects the sensitive organs like eyes. People get addicted due to their attractive interface. So, policies must be taken into action that control their usage so that they gain more knowledge instead of falling into the trap of the media. With self-interest and keen practice, anything can be pursued at ease.

Development of the Society

American and European countries trained students in a way they equip them with wisdom and knowledge and a world-class skill set free of cost. This is the first step that should be taken by countries that are wishing development in its society.
