Why Boarding?

The evolving need for a child’s holistic self and social development is driving parents towards admitting their children to boarding schools. With such a consideration, finding the best cannot be a challenge when we, the Mahatma Boarding Schools, are set to ensure a mentally and physically exciting environment for our boarding students. Our boarding system, for boys, emphasizes life as a community where students learn to cope with highs and lows. They hold responsibility for themselves and for their peers while fostering their emotional quotient. This quality inspires them to support each other in developing their intelligence quotient too. The first-rate education provided by the school acts as a source of widening the students’ scope for higher learning and career choice. Staying on campus has an added benefit to learning, as students are limited to distractions with a sound learning environment; the co-curricular activities serve as the best time-off. In addition to everything else, the various amenities offered by the school make the boarding life a bliss.

Boarding Facilities

Dormitory

Children are accommodated in clean and safe rooms with necessary furniture and fixtures. Every dormitory has a house parent and caretaker who are entrusted with the well-being of the children.

Medical

The school organizes regular health check-ups and maintains detailed records of each student’s medical history. Appropriate medical care is provided as and when required.

Counselling

The counselling sessions cover the issues concerning students and life in a boarding school. The students get to express themselves freely while they understand their goals better.

Dining

School meals are carefully supervised by skilled cooks to provide a well-balanced diet and a variety of dishes. Each day’s food is prepared, keeping in view the nutritional value and other necessary factors.

Laundry

The laundry room is where students’ clothes are rinsed, dried, pressed, and folded by the laundry attendants. Our attendants adhere to the use of appropriate cleaning products for each type of fabric.

Security and Safety

Constant security surveillance and staff ensure high-level security. A biometric locking system for every hostel room guarantees the safekeeping of children’s belongings.

In-house teaching

The round-the-clock availability of teachers and separate sessions for doubts and remedial classes for improvers prove to be of great aid. Weekly tests and reviews bring the best out of their pen.

Extension programs

The school trains children for national and international competitions which includes sports as well. These activities serve as a platform to develop social skills, intellectual skills, moral values and personality progress.

Boarding Regulations

Students get to contact their parents through a phone call every Sunday. They are also encouraged to write letters or mails to their families.

Students are allowed to go home during their term holidays and festival holidays (Diwali).

Gadgets are a big no.
